And next up something perhaps a little more popular, a selection of clips from the upcoming Bleach movie, Memories Of Nobody clip 1, clip 2. clip 3, clip 4.
“Boasting upscale cinematic credentials that simply add to the thrilling visual and narrative elements that have made Bleach the biggest anime sensation since Naruto. BLEACH THE MOVIE: MEMORIES OF NOBODY takes the characters and settings of the popular supernatural fantasy TV series to a whole new level!”

Expo news - some other news
24 /
05 /
2009
The expo was a busy day to be sure on Saturday (and I was out partying Saturday night hence the late postings) but there were a few other bits and bobs of news at the expo.
ADV were in attendance selling their wares, but nothing new, sharing a table next to 4Digital I asked about Mnemosyne which sadly is up in the air at the moment with them and another party unsure on who owns the license.
Revelation were there but nothing new on their front either, still athte mercy of FUNimation in the US, they did have their usual BOGOF offer on though which was nice.
MVM aside from the licenses, Slayers is apparently doing well, and Cutey Honey Live Action movie is also selling well.
Manga held their own panel at 11am but sadly my Dictaphone’s battery ran out half way through.
Naruto Shippenden will be pushed next year after al lthe filler. A third Naruto movie will be out hopefully by boxing day again. The Bleach movies are so late in coming due to them trying to keep the continuity with the TV series. Manga had a long list of Blu rays on the cards too, both GitS movies and the GitS 2.0 “George Lucas” version, as well as Blood the last vampire, and Afro Samurai as well as others that escape me at the moment.
Manga also announced that they have the rights to Sky Crawlers, the new Oshii movie.
Ouran Host Club has quickly become the best selling Shojo title in the UK with 1500 copies sold so far.
Manga also have the new FMA series Brotherhood, which they will stream in the Uk first before following up next year with the DVD release.
BEEZ have announced they have Code Geass (sp?) they are planning a big push for the movie Sword of The Stranger later in the year and their Gurren Laggan release is in an all new deluxe hardback gatefold set, you could buy this early at the Expo and it looks very nice.
That’s your lot for now, I’m sure I’ve forgotten stuff, head on over to the news section of our forums for more bits of news and discussions on them.

Expo news – new licenses
24 /
05 /
2009
The thunder was stolen on all of these by various sources but the recently held London Expo has once again revealed a few licenses of new shows.
MVM have the mecha show Aquarion, the CLAMP TV series X and Moribito, AKA guardian of the spirit Moribito, which is a 26 eppisode TV series currently being released in the US by Media Blasters on a now unconventional 8 volume release, will MVM follow suit, we’ll see.
Meanwhile Manga Ent have Shigurui: Death Frenzy while will most definitely come out as an 18 certificate and will ( IIRC ) be released as a 1 volume box set.
